Redmi Note 8 Confirmed Much Better Camera With Bigger Battery Than Redmi Note 7


The Redmi Note 7 series gained widespread popularity globally specially in India. In India, Xiaomi managed to ship 5 million units of the Redmi Note 7 series by August. After the success of Redmi Note 7 series, it seems that Xiaomi has already started working on Redmi Note 8 series phones. 


Notably, this is not a rumor as Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has confirmed the existence of Redmi Note 8. Weibing has also confirmed some much specs of the upcoming Redmi Note 8Weibing took to the Chinese microblogging site - Weibo - to reveal details of the Redmi Note 8 to share the post on Weibo. In the post he writes that the Redmi Note 8 will come with more upgraded cameras than the Redmi Note 7 series. The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with 48 MP camera setup on the back. This suggests to some extent that the Redmi Note 8 could be a 64MP Camera Redmi phone which the company has been teasing for some time now.


In this Post Weibing Notes that the Redmi Note 8 will come with a much larger battery and screen-to-body ratio compared to the Redmi Note 7 series. Both the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro come with a 4000mAh battery setup and offer great battery life on a single charge. In the same post, Weibing also says that the Redmi Note 8 will be better than the Redmi Note 7 series.

Along with the Redmi Note 8 series, the company is also working on the Redmi 64MP camera phone. Redmi had earlier confirmed that the Redmi 64MP camera phone will come with a quad camera on the back panel. Last week Weibing posted a video of the Redmi 64MP camera phone and revealed that the smartphone is already in mass production and should be launched very soon. 

Xiaomi India has also confirmed to launch a 64MP Redmi phone soon. Redmi does not yet confirm whether the 64MP camera phone is actually Redmi Note 8 or not. As mentioned earlier it is possible that the 64MP camera Redmi phone is actually the Redmi Note 8. Xiaomi is yet to confirm this information.

On August 21, Xiaomi India is set to launch the first Mi Series phone aka Mi A3 in the country. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi A3 will be available on Amazon India website. It is expected that Xiaomi will launch the international variant of Mi A3 in India.
