Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) has announced that after seeing the popularity of Visa Virtual Debit Card among its customers, it will also start issuing physical debit cards through Visa. The bank has already issued more than 4.5 million virtual cards and is now aiming to issue more than 1 million physical debit cards by the end of Financial Year 2021.

Recently, PPBL had enabled banking services through Aadhaar authentication by integrating Aadhaar enabled payment system (AEPS). PPBL has also introduced Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) facility, where it has enabled customers to avail the benefits of more than 400 government subsidies directly in their PPBL Savings Account.
