At First, clicking on any video link in WhatsApp chat will direct the user to its related app. So there was no way to watch the video and chat together. It now varies with this new feature. Whatsapp's PIP Mode supports YouTube, Facebook and Instagram videos.

Now The PIP mode or picture-in-picture mode is a feature that we see almost all popular services today like Facebook, YouTube and now on WhatsApp. This feature is also available in some of today's televisions and smartphones. This feature allows the user to open a program on full screen and one or the other program runs in the same window but in the background. In the case of whatsapp it can be understood. With this feature, WhatsApp users can chat as well as play a video in the same window.

Using The Feature:

Actually When I chatting with my friend on that time He sent a video link which is you tube video and I taped on the video and I saw that the video play in same window where I was chatting. Just like You Tube - video can be played on full screen and also picnh-to-zoom feature supports and it also can be played on both portrait and landscape mode. You can slide left or right to close the video. Also there have a close sign to close video.

So basically you get a full YouTube experience while staying inside Whatsapp. You don't need to go to YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook to watch videos. When you chat, it can be played within the chat app.

Note Here - You have to click on video preview icon don't click on video link, If you click on Video link, it will go directly to the video link URL.

While using the PIP facility in WhatsApp, I can go to one place only. This allows you to chat and play but with only one person. So if my friend sends me a video that I can only chat with him while watching the video. Exit the chat window and your video will close. YouTube and Facebook also support PIP mode, but while playing videos you can scroll through your entire news feed on Facebook. YouTube have same feature, You can scroll through the window while one video is being played in the foreground.

However, it still remains one of the key features on WhatsApp.
