to a report published in an All India News, WhatsApp aims to bring these two

Swipe to
reply -
You can reply to 'Swipe' at the top right of any number in your contact
list. WhatsApp will be opened with 'reply window'. It means, you will not need
to answer the message in a separate WhatsApp account. By which you can quickly
reach your answer in spite of busyness; as a result the time will save.
Dark Mode

Many of people chat with family group or group of old friends in whatsApp at
night. But in the darkness of the night there is a possibility of eye pressure.
Due to eye pressure problem, the Dark Mode feature is coming in WhatsApp by which
Users will chat easily in WhatsApp in darkness.
