Samsung plans to launch its
first foldable phone at the beginning of 2019. So far, we know that this will
be Galaxy X. But the new reports tell that Samsung cannot give its name that.
There is still a year left for the launch of the Samsung foldable phone, Huawei
wants to make its kind of mobile phone first and can bid against Samsung.
A new report from the Nikkei
Asian Review shows that Huawei is planning to roll out his phone, Huawei can
sell some 20,000 to 30,000 units or even a small group of people in its first
batch. The report says that the first batch will be small because the main
purpose of Huawei is to beat Samsung here. The report says that the Huawei will
launch the phone very early in 2019. Huawei can be a part of hands with the
local display provider BOE for flexible OLED screen, which is able to be used
among the Huawei foldable handset.
Citing a source, "The
planned volume of Huawei may be limited to some 20,000 to 30,000 units for some
waves, or even less, for a small group of first-wave adopters."
"Attempts are mainly to demonstrate their technical ability and to attract
industry attention and media coverage." The report does not include
anything on the launch or the phone's glasses. The value of the foldable phone
named Huawei is also unknown, but the report shows that profitability is not
the first priority for both companies.
This is the first report
that we are reading about the Huawei foldable phone. There were reports in
March this year. The company apparently patented the WIPO on September 19th for
a phone-worthy display. Patent next reveal a tablet size offer with a display
that can be added to the smartphone and can be done in your pocket. In fact,
the CEO of the company, Richard Yu last year also said that the company is
working on a foldable phone, and it is probably the difference between the two
displays that all-cause delay.
